Clusters
Five families of schools known as clusters make up the North Wealden School Sport Partnership, all based around our Partner Secondary Schools.
Each one of these clusters is served by one or two School Sport Co-ordinators (SSCo’s).
An SSCo is an existing teacher that is released from the teaching timetable for a number of days per week, and is responsible for the coordination and development of school sport in their own school and family of primary / special schools.
Each primary school has a Primary Link Teacher (PLT), again an existing teacher that is released from teaching for at least 12 days per year, who is responsible for the development and delivery of high quality PE and sport in their own school.

Updates from the Uplands cluster focus on the recent success of the Key Stage 3 & 4 Netball. PLT's experienced a day of training including tag rugby and young leaders are inspired at Sussex University.

Mr Stevens and Miss Virgo have also been visiting each of the primary schools over the past few weeks to try and identify gifted and talented pupils from year 6 at each of the primary schools within the cluster.

Dave Johns, PLT at Plumpton School organised a wonderful day of traditional dance at Plumpton Race Course in partnership with SEFAN (South East Folk Arts Network), & Tradamis (Traditional Dance and Music in Schools).
