Withdean Stadium Sports Day

On 5th July all year 7 and 8 UCTC students went to Withdean stadium to participate in a sporting and arts extravaganza. As part of our annual Sports Day activities students were transported down to Withdean Stadium in Brighton for the athletics tournament, complete with opening ceremony, musical performances, cheerleading and dance displays.

Special Projects

  • Community Sports Coach: The School Sport Coaching Programme is just one of the work strands that will help us to enable a world class system for PE and sport for all children and young people.
  • Multi Skills: For 3 years now the North Wealden SSP had adopted Multi Skills coaching following the outcomes of the Long Term Athlete Development research and FUNdamentals of coaching.
  • Top Up Swimming: We have continued our Top Up Swimming programme this year. All schools that didn’t have an opportunity to participate in the scheme last year were invited to send their most needy year 5 and 6 children.
